Tina Huang is a Chinese Australian writer. She writes prose and poetry.


Tina Huang is a writer and poet whose work has been published widely in Australia and internationally. Her writing has appeared, or is forthcoming, in The Rumpus, Meanjin, Australian Poetry Journal, Sydney Review of Books, Overland, and Cordite Poetry Review, among others.

In 2025, Tina was shortlisted for the Furphy Literary Award. Her lyric short story Waiting was subsequently selected for publication in The Furphy Anthology: The Best Stories from the Furphy Literary Award (Hardie Grant, 2026). Her work has also been recognised by the South Coast Writers Centre Poetry Award, for which she was shortlisted in 2026.
